What happens if a Majestic Greek column falls down and breaks into several pieces? The answer is obvious: it is transformed into a Capitello lounge chair. These chairs were designed by Studio 65 in the 70’s and originally produced by Gufram in soft polyethylene in the beginning of 1970. Later on creme coloured versions in polyester appeared in the mid to late 70’s, this set being of the latter. Yet remaining very comfortable, these harder polyester versions are also very suitable for outdoor use. Of course this design will always do very well in an interior as well.

Good condition consistent with age and use. Some small marks, discolorations and crackles are to be noted on the chairs. These were previously used outdoors for a short while. This does not take away from it’s beauty whatsoever, only adding to the richness of a  contemporary archaeological look.
